Kazume has shown her
artwork for peace and
earth preservation
throughout the state of
Hawaii. A graduate of
Honolulu Community
College's Commercial
Art and UH-Manoa's
Political Science
programs, she is an avid
practitioner of what she
as a student named
"Revisionist" concepts.
Recycling is a cornerstone of Kazume's ever evolving revisionist art. Multi-media is her playing field.
The creation of art is a
necessary component of a
successful wholistic healing
program. Whatever form this
expression takes is not as
important as rather the amount
of expression required to move
energy from within, where it
creates problematic bodily
responses, to the outside
world environment. This
energy is meant to be brought
out and shared in positive
ways so as to bring growth to
everyone and thereby
ourselves. Hui Habibi

fullest expression through

photos by Kazume as she swam with dolphins.
Kazume is beginning to paint portraits,
and enjoying the intimacy and
knowledge of a person's character that
close scrutiny brings. Here is her first,
still a work in progress. Can you
guess who this is?
How well do you see, Revisionist ?
Take a moment to really see, and then
another moment, to see again.
Envision! Revision! and rejoice!
Relive life from this new perspective!
Kazume is an avid photographer. In fact, she would
much rather be behind the camera instead of in front
if it. She enjoyed briefly working for a modeling
agency, shooting fashion and headshots, applying
make-up and a pseudo-fashion wardrobe. Having
spent her childhood and adult years reveling in those
forest trails less traveled and communicating with
nature, she is able to successfully capture ethereal,
wild beauty.
